With the increasing frequency and severity of wildfires as a result of climate change, insurers face challenges in predicting and managing this risk, and consumers and businesses face challenges in finding comprehensive coverage. Join InnSure and a panel of experts for a deep dive into the insurance-related challenges associated with wildfire risk, the impact on consumers, policy and regulatory responses, and innovative approaches to addressing the wildfire protection gap.

In this 90-minute interactive workshop participants will have the opportunity to interact with a dynamic simulator developed by Climate Interactive and the MIT Sustainability Initiative. By testing and exploring various pathways to reach net zero emissions you will gain a much better understanding of climate change, and the impacts, assumptions, and tradeoffs involved in transitioning to a low carbon economy. InnSure will be providing an insurance and transition risk overlay to help participants think about insurance innovation in the context of climate risk.
