InnSure Loop

Closing the loop between community resilience and the insurance market.

The Loop is Broken

Communities invest in resilience — wildfire mitigation, coastal protection, residential hardening — but rarely see those investments reflected in how insurers underwrite. Insurers, in turn, lack the ground truth they need to keep writing coverage in climate-impacted regions. Information runs in one direction at a time, and the market and the community lose track of each other. Insurance becomes harder to access. Resilience investment loses its market signal. Communities and carriers both pay the price.

InnSure Loop is designed to close that gap.

InnSure Loop is a community-centered program that pairs community-led carrier qualification with structured market intelligence — so resilience investment and market response finally see each other clearly. Communities sit at the center; InnSure orchestrates the flow.

How InnSure Loop Works

InnSure Loop is the Insurance Market Engagement pathway in InnSure's broader Total Cost of Risk framework — alongside community resilience audits and commercial resilience audits.

The program operates in four community-focused stages: qualify and onboard solution providers against a community-leader-reviewable rubric weighted heavily on equity-aligned criteria; bundle carrier access with framing that names the social benefit of each solution; distribute through trusted community channels; and feed market intelligence back to communities and carriers — about which resilience investments insurers actually value and which solutions actually close protection gaps.

Three principles hold the Loop together:

  • Community-led carrier qualification, on the community's terms. Communities use equity-weighted criteria to evaluate which carriers belong on the qualified roster — turning carrier participation from a market-default into a community decision.

  • Structured market intelligence flowing back. Aggregate, anonymous insight from resident insurance journeys flows back to communities and to InnSure's Total Cost of Risk framework — so each turn of the Loop deepens what both sides know about the other.

  • A continuous cycle, not a one-time transaction. Carrier access on one side; market intelligence on the other; quarterly feedback connecting the two. The Loop closes again and again.

InnSure Loop is now in active build. The first community pilot launches in 2026, with replication planned across additional climate-impacted regions.
